Careless Driving. Exhaust Pipe Holder Tear Down.

Because of careless driving, I have knock something below the bottom of the car. Not really a major problem. The holder of the exhaust pipe tear down. Luckily it is easy to repair and install. Nothing much to worry. Spent about RM 20.00 to repair. Just some knocking and welding will do.

WWX 8999 - Hyundai Elantra - RM 600.00

After few attempt on tendering the car number for 8999, at last I got it for WWX 8999. The tendering basis cost me RM 600.00 + Rm 20.00 for registration service charge. On 6th September 2012, I took my delivery of the car at Hyundai Glenmarie Shah Alam but this around the prices are different from the previous booking.

 

The price now stand RM 96,888.00 for 1.6 GLS High Spec. An extra of RM 5,000.00 from previous booking of RM 91,888.00. With a loan of RM 77,000.00 and repayment of 60 months. A month installment cost me RM 1,444.00.

Changing New Spark Plugs - 58,413 KM

For the past one week the car experiencing some vibration during acceleration. Have no choice but send to Hyundai service center to check the condition. I have to spend one whole day until 6.00pm and wait till the car been check and service.

They have check the whole things through out the day and at last the only problem they foundd was just some Spark Plugs problem. For me I will call lousy techinician because it took so long to rectify the problems. After changing to new one the car run very smooth but I feel unsatisfied because old Spark Plugs just been change when the car went in for the 5th servicing.

During that time (5th servicing) the car kilometer was around 44,661 km. They told me that my car meter shown 58,413 km, so it was over about 14,000 km. Under Hyundai service center policies, a new pack of Spark Plugs when it change will be warranted for the first 10,000 km or 6 months, which ever come first. 

I have no choice but to change the Spark Plugs. Cost me RM 83.20.

Payment To Sime Darby For New Elantra 1.6 High Spec.

Payment was being made to Sime Darby Hyundai Auto Sdn Bhd for the new Elantra 1.6 High Spec. The payment amount was RM 18,888.00 with the loan amount approved from Hong Leong Bank Berhad was RM 77,000.00. 5 years repayment period. Total amount purchase was RM 96,888.00.

The booking was made earlier in the month of April 2012 at Citta Mall. A down payment of RM 1,000.00 was been paid during that time. The color chosen was Tomato Red.

Number plate was being tender at JPJ Kuala Lumpur. The number plate was WWX 8999. It cost was RM 600.00 to get that number. With registration of RM 20.00 being spend at JPJ Kuala Lumpur.

Changing 2 Piece Of New Continental Tyre.

Change 2 piece of tyre using Continental tyre. It cost about RM 470.00 a piece. Putting it in the front tyre. Change on early August after reaching about 56,000 kilometer based on car meter. The package include alignment and balacing.

Total spending was RM 940.00. Based on the information received; a tyre can stand about 45,000 KM to 50,000 KM max before changing a new one.

Tyre Size : 215/65 / 17 inches.

6th Servicing - 55,515 KM

Sending for 6th servicing. This time around I have make some changes. Under warranty - changing air-cond compresor.

1) Lubricants Service = RM81.00

2) Misc = RM3.00

3) Shell Helix Ultra 5W/40 4L = RM218.00

4) Filter Assy Engine Oil = RM15.44
5) Washer drain Plug = RM1.62

Service Tax @ 6% = RM 4.86

Total : RM323.90

Re-Paint The Scratches.

Minor scratches appear at the back of the sideline. Front side also have scratches. Send to the workshop to re-paint. Cost me about RM550.00 to get new look.
