First Time Entering To Thailand.

On 24th November 2010, I drive my Hyundai Sonata straight to Thailand. I have to buy the insurance and it cost me RM15.00. The exchange rate also very low. I change it at 9.53.

How Much? Only RM28.00.

Just purchased on last Wednesday. It cost me RM28.00. I was thinking to put it on to make it look more beautiful and with styling.

Repaired. Cost Me Only RM100.00

 My car was repaired and it only cost me RM100.00 only. Workmanship and paint. Below is the car that I was involved in accident with.

It was a Kancil. I have to bear the cost of repair. If we take a look on it, this Kancil look a bit bad.

Anyway I need to pay all the expenses to cover the cost of repairing, RM400.00.

Surprise, Surprise! An I-POD for Hyundai Sonata Purchaser.

Surprised! This was a great surprised for me. On 21.10.2010 I have received a package of box from Hyundai Sime Darby.

First I thought it just a normal gift or a present from Hyundai. Maybe a small book or other gifts but I never thought it will be something special from them.

Need to take time to learns how to use this device.

My First Accident.

What a day (20.10.2010). My first accident. My car involved in an accident occur at Taman Bayu Perdana 5.50pm. It was my mistake. I didn't saw that car coming. I was listening to the hand phone.

However it was not that bad but the owner of the other car looks a bit bad. Need to do some touch up work. A bit scar on the plate number and the lamp. Next time need to be careful.

1st Service - 1,169KM

Just for the purpose of record. On 4th October 2010, I bring my new car for a service at Hyundai service center in Glenmarie, Shah Alam.

This is the first service. I has been advice to bring my car for second service once the kilometer reaches 10,000 KM. I'm using Shell HELIX ULTRA 5W/40L (fully synthetic).

The amount of the bill cost me:

1) Engine Oil : RM 267.00 (4 litre + 1 Litre)

2) Oil Filter : RM 16.65

3) CO Washer Drain Plug : RM 2.16

Total : RM 285.81

Tinted Glass Installed

Well the tinted glass was put it on the car. It was a warranty tinted paper where by it should not post any problem if the JPJ stop the car. Installed on 30th September 2010 in Petaling Jaya.

No extra cost as this tinted was provided free by Sime Darby Auto Hyundai Sdn. Bhd.

WUE 8999 - The Plate Number

My Fifth Car - Hyundai Sonata 2.0 YF

On 23rd September, 2010 I received my Hyundai Sonata Car. When I went to took my car the plate number not yet ready. Need to go there to book the plate number.

Well the plate number cost me about RM70.00 after duducting the RM27.50 (RM 100.00 - actual cost) from the management of Sime Darby Auto Hyundai Sdn Bhd. Why my plate number cost so much. I'm using a special white plate number.

Road Tax RM758.00

White Colour

On Friday 17.09.2010 the management of Sime Darby Auto Hyundai Sdn. Bhd inform me that the Silver colour would not be available due to the AP problem from the Custom department. The only available colour and fastest delivery car for me to choose is the White colour. 

After much of the thinking, I have decided to take the High Spec 2.0 Hyundai Sonata White colour. No choice can't wait anymore longer. It has been a long wait for me already. Expected delivery date would be next week. 

Hyundai Sonata - Going For Silver Colour

After considering for a while, I have decided to take the Hyundai Sonata Silver colour. The management wasn't able to deliver the Red colour as requested.

I have been waiting for it since end of April until now. Anyway a decision need to be make or else I have to wait maybe until end of September. The second batch of Hyundai Sonata will only arrive in September. That also they are not really sure that they can deliver the Red colour from the second batch.

Hyundai Sonata New Piece Of Catalog

Another new catalog and the prices in perfect presentation. For company registration, it would cost at RM144,712.80 for High Spec 2.0 Sonata.

For personal registration, it would only cost RM143,888.00

Eon Bank Berhad Car Loan Approved

I'm taking a loan from Eon Bank Berhad. The loan was RM100,000.00 and the interest rate is at 3.1% per year. The loan was approved and now I just have to wait for the new car to come.

The repayment period was five years. Cost me nearly about RM1,925.00 per month.

Hyundai Sonata Catalog (Malaysia Version)

WUE 8999 Tendering Successful.

Walah ... I got a great news yesterday (27.07.2010). My tendering number of WUE 8999 was successful. At RM380.00, I will consider it is worth of buying for this number. I have been driving the 9897 plate number for quite sometimes (about 15 years) and this time I should change to a new one for my new Hyundai Sonata car.

Tendering A Number WUE 8999.

On the 13th July, 2010 I pass my document to one of my sales man who is handling the Hyundai Sonata purchase. The document is for tendering a number in JPJ Wilayah Persekutuan. I was tendering a number for my out coming new car.

The number was WUE 8999. I'm tendering at RM 380.00 but I don't know whether I have a chance to win that number. The closing date was 15th July, 2010. The results will only come out on 27th July, 2010.

Hopefully I can get it........ Already paid RM10.00 for tendering fee and RM190.00 for deposit booking.

Hyundai Sonata Test Drive Cars Have Arrived In Malaysia.

Yesterday (25.06.2010) I went Hyundai showrooms in Glenmarie Shah Alam to look and see my dream car. The Hyundai Sonata YF series. It was a great car. The size of the car was almost the same size as the Camry and the Accord car.

What a wonderful car. I have a chance to snap a few photo of it. Although I have already make the booking end of March, I only have the chance to take and drive the car by end of July or early of August.

 

I have already tested and drive the car. I have tested the 2.0cc and another one is 2.4cc. I like the 2.4cc but the prices is a bit expensive. Have to pay extra RM 20,000 for this version. Thinking now whether to take the 2.0cc or 2.4cc version?  

 

Anyway I think 2.0cc is much better. To save some cost because there is not much different between the 2.0cc and 2.4cc in terms of outlook. Based on my finding, the salesman told me that my booking was the one of the earliest in the whole Malaysia. I don't know how true is it. After a careful thought I have made up my mind to go for 2.0cc. The price is about 143,888.00 

My Targeted Fifth Car - Hyundai Sonata

Hyundai Sonata YF Model 2011. On 18th March 2010 I went to Hyundai Sime Darby show rooms in Glenmarie, Shah Alam to order a new model of Hyundai Sonata. I'm ordering a new Red colour and was hoping that I can received this model by June 2010.

In order to make a new booking, I have to pay a deposit of RM 1,000.00. This model will be imported from South Korea (CBU).
